STEK DYNOshield and DYNOmatte

Paint protection film

Starts at $1,99510-year warranty

Every winter Bend puts cinder on the roads and the roads put it in your paint. STEK film takes those hits instead, and light scratches heal out with a little heat.

The four packages

Orange is film. Each package covers everything the one before it does, plus more. Every edge gets wrapped, the film gets ceramic coated, and all four carry the same 10-year STEK warranty. Every number is a starting price and the real quote happens on the car. Clear bra, PPF, paint protection film: same thing, and ours is cut and laid here in Bend for all of Central Oregon.

This is the first time I ever bought a new car and Dutchman gave incredible advice, didn't try to convince me to do anything I didn't feel comfortable doing and took AMAZING care of my car. I feel like my car is protected and they are the nicest guys to deal with. Really appreciate their attention to detail and enthusiasm as well. Y'all are the BEST !!!

Ryan did an amazing job tinting and installing PPF on my 23’ Tesla Plaid! Worked on it the entire day and couldn’t be happier with the results 👍🏼 …

Ryan and crew were amazing to work with - we did a full PPF wrap, window tint, light tint with a new camo wrap to accent it on my 25’ Dodge 2500 limited. World class job. Ryan was in touch every step of the way when the project took longer than expected due to external vendors shipping materials later than expected and sweetened the deal to make up for it running over a bit. I couldn’t be happier with the end product and would highly recommend him and his shop!

Hands down the best in town for window tinting, PPF, detailing and paint correction. My 4runner is much cooler in hot temps due to the best tints being installed. Ryan and his team is extremely professional and knowledgeable. My 4runner was covered in scratches and now it looks brand new due to their excellent paint correction services. Every dollar spend with them is worth it. Best value without a doubt. If you are looking for the best, Dutchman customs is it.

PPF questions, answered straight

How much does paint protection film cost in Bend, Oregon?
Our packages start at $1,995 for a full front (hood, bumper, fenders, headlights, mirrors), $2,500 for full front plus rockers, $3,800 for a three-quarter body and $5,800 for a full body. Those are starting prices for STEK film with every edge wrapped and a 10-year warranty. The real number is quoted on your car, because a Miata and a Suburban are not the same job.
Which PPF package should I get?
Full front plus rockers. That is what we recommend in Central Oregon. Every winter ODOT puts cinder on 97 and 20, and the front tires fire it into the rockers and the bottom of the doors, not just the hood. That package covers where the damage actually happens. Go full body if you are keeping the car a long time or the paint is soft, like a Tesla.
What is the difference between PPF and a ceramic coating?
Film stops rock chips. A coating does not. PPF is an 8 mil urethane layer that takes the hit and heals light scratches with heat. A ceramic coating is a thin hard layer that makes the car easier to wash and keeps the gloss up. They are not the same job and they stack: film on the front, coating over everything, and we coat the film itself on every PPF install.
How long does PPF take?
A full front is done in a day and you pick it up the next day around noon. A full body is two to five days in the bay. If you are doing tint or ceramic too, we line it all up in one stay.
Does paint protection film yellow or peel?
Not this film. STEK DYNOshield and DYNOmatte carry a 10-year warranty against delamination, yellowing, bubbling and cracking, with a UV-resistant film and an anti-yellowing adhesive. The cheap films that turned yellow gave PPF its old reputation. This is not that.
Can you see the film on the car?
Not from a foot away. The edges get wrapped or tucked wherever the panel allows it, the topcoat has no orange peel, and the whole thing gets ceramic coated when it is done. On a matte or satin car we use DYNOmatte so the finish stays flat.
Do you do PPF on Teslas?
All the time. Tesla paint is thin and marks early, which is why film on the front end matters more on a Tesla than on most cars. Model 3, Y, S, X and Cybertruck all come through the bay, and the Tesla page shows exactly what each package covers on a Model S.
Is clear bra the same as PPF?
Yes. Clear bra is the old name for paint protection film, from when it only came as a strip across the nose. Today it is the same STEK urethane film, cut for the whole front end or the whole car, and it is what we install in Bend for all of Central Oregon.
Do you do PPF on a Cybertruck?
Yes. Cybertrucks come through the bay for windshield and side glass tint (the windshield is $700), for wraps, and for film. The commercial wrap on the wraps page is ours. Film on the stainless panels is quoted on the truck, the same as any PPF job.
Is PPF worth it on a used car?
Yes, if the paint is in good shape. We look it over first and tell you straight if it is not, and if it needs a correction before the film goes on, we quote that with the film.
